Why we need you
Are you an enthusiastic, tech-savvy and passionate social media boffin? If so, we want to hear from you to help us with an exciting role as a Facebook Group Expert. This role will be crucial to the success of our Facebook fundraising events.
How much time do you need to be able to give?
Flexible to work around Fundraising team’s events schedule & your availability. The minimum ask is three events per year.
What will you be doing?
- Posting within and moderating our Facebook group challenges
- Providing participants with motivation, encouragement, and support
- Responding to queries, providing relevant information about the event
- Driving engagement within the group, promoting interaction between participants
- Sharing progress updates and success stories to celebrate milestones
- Encouraging donations and rallying support for our cause
What skills do you need?
- Excellent written communication skills
- Active on Facebook with knowledge of its features and functionality
- Able to maintain a positive and respectful online environment
- Empathetic and motivating, with the ability to inspire others
- Passionate about animal welfare and the work of the SSPCA
- Organised and proactive, able to manage a busy Facebook group
