The Pet Education Partnership’s Children and Pets Survey 2025 – Launch Webinar

We’re excited to invite you to the launch of a brand-new national research initiative from the Pet Education Partnership (PEP) – a collaboration of eight leading UK animal welfare charities: Blue Cross, Cats Protection, Dogs Trust, PDSA, RSPCA, SSPCA, USPCA and Woodgreen.
The Children and Pets Survey 2025 explores the unique and influential relationship between children and animals, with findings that shed light on children’s attitudes toward pets, pet acquisition in families and awareness of dog safety.
To mark the launch, we’re hosting two free webinars tailored to different audiences:
🐶Wednesday 4th June, 8:00pm – for anyone working in the animal welfare sector
🐱Thursday 5th June, 4:00pm – for educators, parents, carers and those working with children
Each session will feature key findings from the survey and panel discussions on how we can all play a role in shaping lifelong compassion and responsible behaviour towards animals.
Our panel includes:
  • David Allen, Head of Prevention and Education, RSPCA
  • Shelley Brown, Head of Education, Cats Protection
  • Anna Baggott, Education Lead, PDSA
  • Kerry Taylor, Education Manager, Blue Cross
  • Maria Kyle, Intervention Development Manager, Dogs Trust
  • Dr Bethan Greenwood, Research Officer, Dogs Trust
