Staff at the Scottish SPCA’s Aberdeenshire rescue centre took their dogs out for a Boxing Day stroll.
The Scottish SPCA’s Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Drumoak organised a group walk for all of the dogs in their care on Boxing Day.

As well as a stroll, the centre also got to work cooking a Christmas dinner for each of its residents, serving up turkey for the dogs, turkey and salmon for the cats, a selection of herbs and vegetables for their smaller animals and some flapjacks for the horses.
Toy and treat donations were also popped aside in the lead up to Christmas which were then wrapped, with each animal able to pick out a present.
All animals deserve a treat, especially at Christmas
Naomi Clancy, Manager at the Aberdeenshire centre, said: “We have been busy at the Aberdeenshire centre this festive period, cooking up a festive feast for our lovely animals, wrapping up some toys and organising a group walk for our dogs.
“All animals deserve a treat, especially at Christmas, so we were really keen to plan something special for the ones at the centre.”

Puppies across Scotland need your help
Please consider giving a monthly donation today. Give Scotland’s animals the gift of safety this winter and beyond. The criminals involved in the low-welfare puppy trade never stop. And with your help, neither will we. Every £1 matters to puppies like Winnie.
