What is the Supernova Forth Road Bridge Event?

On Saturday 7th November 2026, the iconic Forth Road Bridge will be completely closed for you to walk, jog or run the 5K route, enjoying a series of spectacular light and colour features all the way.
Who can take part in the Supernova Forth Road Bridge Event?
The event is completely accessible and therefore suitable for all abilities. You decide your pace, whether that is to run at the speed of light, or take your time and snap a few pictures and selfies as you go!
Participants must be 12 years old or over on the day of the event. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
