Looking for a running challenge with a difference?
The Kilomathon Scotland event attracts over 2,000 participants and offers three unique running distances to take part in – 13.1k, 6.5k and Mino Kilo.
Take in fantastic views along the capital’s beautiful cycle path network, starting at Ocean Terminal beside the historic Royal Yacht Britannia (13.1k only) and finishing at the home of Scottish Rugby, BT Murrayfield Stadium.
Event Details
The Kilomathon Scotland event takes place on Sunday 29th March 2026.
The 13.1k run is open to those aged 16 years and over, with a scheduled start time of 8:30am from Ocean Terminal.
The 6.5k run is open to those aged 15 years and over, with a scheduled start time of 9am from Clark Road cycle path.
The Mini Kilo is open to those aged between 6 – 14, with a scheduled start time of 8:30am from Murrayfield Stadium.

Registration Fee and Fundraising Targets
- Kilomathon 13.1k event: Scottish SPCA discounted registration fee £15, fundraising target £175.
- Kilomathon 6.5k event: Scottish SPCA discounted registration fee £10, fundraising target £60.
- Kilomathon Mini Kilo event: FREE entry, fundraising target £50.
