The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after seven pigeons were found on the A82 on 24 March.
We were alerted to the seven pigeons by a member of the public after they found them in a cardboard box in a lay-by on the A82 near Glasgow. We are now caring for them at our Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
Scottish SPCA centre manager Judy Button, said, “The seven pigeons were found by a member of the public in a cardboard box in a lay-by on the A82 on 24 March.
“They were found in poor condition and unfortunately five passed away.
“They were not ringed and the remaining two are in our care here at the centre.
“We’re keen to find out how these pigeons ended up in the area in this condition.
“If anyone recognises these pigeons or has any information on this incident they can contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
