Wee Seamus is on the look out for his new home!

This little chappie is an energetic dog who loves going out on adventures and loves his food even more, which is excellent for supporting his ongoing training.

Here at the centre Seamus has a handful of dog pals but, could use ongoing socialisation training as he can become vocal when he sees other dogs when out and about. As such, he would be better suited to being the only dog in the home so prospective owners can improve his doggy communication skills.

When he came into our care he had some severe skin and eye problems which have been brought under control during his stay with us however, he does still have baldness on parts of his body. Due to the baldness, prospective owners must monitor this when he is outside to prevent any sun burns- he is happy wearing jumpers and coats. Seamus will also need ongoing medication for his skin and eyes, which will be discussed during rehoming conversations.

As he is an energetic dog who loves to get his nose into everything, he would be best suited to an active home which can meet his exercise needs as well as provide plenty of mental enrichment.

Once he has settled he can be quite cuddly, but he will not be a lap dog as he prefers being on the go. He is super friendly with people, although he can sometimes lack manners so would be best to live in an adult only home.
