Barney is a very handsome boy who is looking for his next adventure.

He likes to bound about playing and is always full of energy. He loves his walks and getting loads of attention.

Barney has a very sweet nature and could live with older children who have experience with larger breeds. He could also live with another dog, pending a successful introduction, but cannot live with cats.

Barney can walk well on the lead but does get over excited when he sees other dogs he could play with. He is still young and learning his doggy manners. He always wants to interact and play with other dogs however can become quite vocal. He just loves to chat away to all dogs he sees! His playful nature makes him quite boisterous at times and so we recommend his new owner continues introductions with dogs so he learns to play in a safe way.

We feel Barney would be best suited to a household with a large garden area where he can zoom about and burn off his hyper energy. He is a lovely walker on his lead. At times he can get a little excited and just wants to zoom in our grass exercise area.
