Cashew is a lovely little hamster now looking for his forever home.

Cashew absolutely loves to burrow in his deep bedding and gnaw on his enrichment sprays. He will come out and say hello and is always super curious as to what is going on around him.

He will require a suitable, secure enclosure that is a minimum of 100 x 50 x 50 cm. Hamsters can travel a long way in the wild so it is important they have plenty of space to roam and explore to keep them happy and healthy.

Cashew will require different substrates in the enclosure, such as sand and coco coir. They will also require a large wheel to keep them moving and plenty of hides, including one which has multiple chambers.

He does prefer to keep all four paws on the ground so any potential new owner will need to understand she may not always enjoy being handled.

It is also important to remember that hamsters are crepuscular so tend to come out at more unsociable hours.
