Rosie is a sweet lurcher girl with endless amounts of energy. She loves zooming around at high speeds in our field, picking up teddies as she goes.

Although Rosie is a very energetic dog, she does love a cuddle and affection. She is a very friendly girl but can be sensitive when meeting new people and being in new environments.

This beautiful girl does know some basic commands, such as sit, paw, come etc.

Rosie is lots of fun and enjoys her walks. She generally walks well on the lead but would benefit from further training in this area since she can often get the impulse for zoomies. She can also be quite distracted if she sees another dog, however she has improved greatly with this and she has been walking well with other dogs here at the centre and beginning to make more friends.

Rosie's ideal home would be someone active and willing to continue her training. Knowledge or experience of sight hounds would also be beneficial. She will also need to be the only pet in the home, although she would benefit from meeting up with doggy friends for walks if a new owner takes the time to introduce them safely.
