Smiley staffie seeks his forever home

We are looking for a new home for Big Z, a happy and smiley Staffordshire bull terrier, to make his Christmas wish come true.

We have been caring for Big Z at our Ayrshire and South West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre after he was found in unsuitable conditions at his previous home.

This loveable chap, aged between six and nine years old, has been in the care of the centre for 602 days.

Big Z is a wonderful and energetic boy who has spent his time being rehabilitated and is now ready to find his forever home where he can lap up all the attention that he wants and deserves.

Lynda Hourston, centre manager, said, “Big Z has been a firm favourite with all the staff as you can’t help but smile as he runs up to you so full of energy and love. He always has a big smile on his face.

“He loves nothing more than walks and playtime and is just really happy to be in the company of humans.

“An adult-only home with a large and secure garden for him to bound about and play would be ideal for this boy.

“He would love to be the only pet so he can get all the attention he loves, however he could potentially be rehomed with a well-socialised canine friend, pending a successful introduction.

Big Z will have some health exclusions on insurance which will be discussed with potential owners.

If you think you can offer this wonderful smiling boy his forever home then please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/9552-big-z
