Mother and son duo seek forever home

Brie and Jason

We are looking for a forever home for dogs Brie and Jason, a mother and son crossbreed pair.

We have been caring for this bonded duo at our Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for almost 80 days but they have had very little interest.

Centre manager, Jaqueline McEwen, said: “Brie and Jason are a mother and son who are bonded so must go to a home together. Although both can be shy, Jason is the most timid and needs his mum there to help him build his confidence.

“Once you are their friend, they love nothing more than coming up onto your lap for a nice cuddle and scratch.

“Brie and Jason lived a very sheltered life previously so unfortunately are not used to walking in the big bad world. Brie is starting to walk on her harness and lead but Jason is still much more content on viewing the world from your arms. With this in mind, they need a secure garden where they can build their confidence and get more comfortable walking on the lead.

“They are very loving dogs and will plant a kiss on your cheek at any given opportunity. They are just looking for a cosy lap through the winter.

“Brie and Jason would be looking for an adult-only home with no other animals, where they would have company for a good part of the day. Anyone would be lucky to have this pair join their family.”

If you or someone you know can offer this loving pair their forever home then please apply via our website
