Our Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre is appealing for food for dogs in their care. The centre has already cared for 87 dogs this year and is running low on both wet and dry food.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre.

Centre manager Judy Button said, “We are in need of essential food for the dogs in our care.

“We’re always extremely busy at the centre and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.

“We are in need of both wet and dry food as each meal is tailored to every individual dog’s needs depending on their preference, veterinary advice, age and size.

“This food helps keep dogs like Suki the Jack Russell cross happy and healthy while they wait to find their forever homes.

“We are so thankful for your support so that we can continue to provide the best possible care for the animals at our centre.

“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know the dogs will be too.”

Dog food can be donated via the centre’s Amazon wish list here: https://amzn.to/3xj06de or sent from another online retailer that can deliver. Items can also be dropped in to the centre reception at Scottish SPCA, Dumbarton Road, Milton, Dumbarton G82 2UA between 1pm and 4pm daily.
