Bunny brothers seek forever home

Edam and Stilton the bunnies

We are looking for a forever home for bunnies Edam and Stilton, a crossbreed pair who have grown up within the charity.

We have been caring for this bonded duo at our Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for almost 200 days but they have had very little interest.

Centre manager, Gillian Boyle, said: “These boys are very friendly bunnies and are ready to find their new family.

“Both were a little unsure of people when they first arrived with us, although Edam was more confident than Stilton. After daily handling and some TLC, they have grown in confidence and are happy to take treats and veggies from your hand.

“They are a bonded pair who will require plenty of enrichment and space to explore. Their favourite thing to do is play with cardboard boxes!

“Edam and Stilton are preferably looking to be indoor rabbits, but in time could potentially be outdoor rabbits if acclimatised properly.

“We feel they would be best suited to a home with older children and an owner who has some experience with rabbits. Their new family would also need to continue with their daily grooming.

“Edam and Stilton are both neutered and ready to start their new life in a loving home.”
