We are appealing for information after a long-haired, ginger male cat was found next to a cat carrier in woods along Kelvin walkway in the west end of Glasgow.
A member of the public discovered the cat while out walking on Saturday 25 November 2023 around 9.30am.
Inspector Sian Robertson said: “The cat seems well looked after and a bit overweight. He is microchipped but the details are not up to date.
“He was found next to a red and black cat carrier and is very friendly.
“The cat is now in the care of one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres.
“If anyone recognises this cat, or has any information about his circumstances, they should call our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
