We are appealing for information after a dog was found tied up outside Balloch Park in Dumbarton on 8 December. The dog is now safe in the care of our Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Centre manager, Ally Bibby, said, “The dog is a female pocket bully type dog and is white with tan patches. She also has cropped ears.

“She was spotted by a member of the public who noticed the dog on their way to work on the morning of 8 December and then was understandably concerned when the dog was still there when they returned home that afternoon.

“The dog was not wearing a collar when she was found and is not microchipped.

“If anyone recognises this dog or has any information, we would ask that they contact our confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
