We are appealing for information after a cat was found in the Finnieston area on 26 November.

We were contacted by a local vet surgery after the male cat was handed in to them by a member of the public.

Scottish SPCA veterinary nurse Sharon McKinnon said, “We are caring for the cat at our vet clinic in Glasgow.

“We’ve found that he is diabetic and requires insulin each morning.

“Despite his diabetes, he seems to have been well cared for and we think someone may be missing him.

“He is white with grey patches on parts of his body and is neutered. We’ve estimated him to be between eight and 10 years old.

“If anyone recognises this boy or has any information then please do contact our animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
