We are appealing to animal lovers for donations of essential food and cat litter for the animals at our Angus, Fife, and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The centre is currently caring for five dogs, eight cats, and six ferrets. They are running extremely low on dry adult dog food, ferret food, and cat litter.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre.

Centre assistant manager, Dale Christie, said, “We are in desperate need of essential food and cat litter for the animals in our care.

“We are always extremely busy at the centre and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.

“We are in need of dry adult dog food and ferret food to keep our animals like Duke and Hamish happy and healthy while they wait to find their forever homes.

“We are also in need of cat litter to keep our felines like Badger happy and clean.

“Your support means that we can continue to provide the best possible care for the animals at our centre.

“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know our cats, dogs, and ferrets will be too!”

Cat litter, dog food and ferret food can be donated via the centre’s Amazon wish list here: https://amzn.to/3NkVrfq or sent from another online retailer that can deliver. Items can also be handed in daily between 1pm and 4pm to the reception at the Scottish SPCA Angus, Fife, and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, A90, Dundee, DD4 0QD.
