We are appealing to animal lovers to donate dog food and cat litter for animals in the care of our Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The centre is currently caring for six dogs and 11 cats and is running particularly low on dry dog food.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre. Donations can also be handed into the centre reception at Scottish SPCA, A90, Dundee, DD4 0QD between 1pm and 4pm daily.

Centre manager, Anna Keen, said, “We are currently caring for a high number of dogs and cats at the centre.

“There are a lot of hungry mouths to feed and litter trays to refresh.

“Your donations will help dogs like Floyd maintain a healthy weight and keep cats like Coco clean and tidy while they await their forever homes.

“We’d be so grateful for anything people can spare and we know the animals in our care will be too.”
