Animal lovers across Scotland will have the chance to enjoy heroic and heart-warming rescue stories with the return of hit TV show Animal 999.

Airing on STV at 8.30pm on Tuesday 15 March, the series focuses on the incredible work of our animal rescue and care teams as they respond to urgent reports of animals in need across the whole of Scotland.

Animal 999 was a hit with audiences when it last aired on STV in 2016, and the six new episodes will chart the rescues of everything from dogs to ducks, snakes to seals and more.

The show returns as we enter 2022 off the back of our busiest year ever, where demand for our services was higher than ever. In fact, our tireless animal rescue officers and inspectors responded to an average of over 235 reports of animals in need every single day. At the same time, our wildlife hospital and rescue and rehoming centres treated over 10,000 animals.

Tune into Animal 999 at 8.30pm every Tuesday, or get the series on catch-up or the STV Player.
