Together, for Scotland’s Wildlife

Go wild for these behind-the-scenes clips at the National Wildlife Rescue Centre.

We are blessed with an abundance of beautiful wild animals in Scotland and we are very lucky to have your support for when those animals need us most. Your regular support is truly making a difference to Scotland’s wild animals.

Our Wildlife Centre is supported by over 20 fantastic Wildlife Assistants providing daily care, and an incredibly talented on-site Veterinary team providing medical care to injured and abandoned wildlife.

From small animals such as bats and hedgehogs, to foxes, seals, and birds of prey; our team of experts ensure that every animal has the best, most appropriate rehabilitation experience until they are ready to be released back into the wild, where they belong.

We admit thousands of wild animals each year, with birds making up around 70% of cases, with peak admissions from June to September. The Centre can care for up to 1,500 animals at a time, with vital support from our dedicated volunteers.
