Request a Gift in Wills Guide
Get everything you need to include Scottish SPCA in your Will.
What type of gift could you leave the Scottish SPCA?
There are three different types of gift you can leave in your Will:
- A portion of your estate (known as a residuary gift)
- A fixed sum of money (known as a pecuniary gift)
- A specific gift (such as property or jewellery)
To leave a gift in your Will to the Scottish SPCA, you will need:
- Our charity number – SC006467
- Our address – Scottish SPCA, Kingseat Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8RY
It’s important that you use someone qualified to write your Will. Small errors have the potential to cause confusion or even invalidate your Will, so we strongly recommend that you use a solicitor.
We have a helpful guide with information about how to plan your Will and, if you already have a Will, how to add a gift to the Scottish SPCA.

The Scottish SPCA and RSPCA are different charities. The Scottish SPCA operates across Scotland, while the RSPCA operates in England and Wales.
If you would like to leave a gift in your Will to the Scottish SPCA you need to include our registered charity number SC006467 and our office address: Scottish SPCA, Kingseat Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8RY.
