If you are attending a course relating to animal welfare at College or University and are required to undertake a work placement as part of your course work, please get in touch as we can provide you with opportunities. We also offer placements at our Headquarters. Anyone over the age of 16 can apply for a Further Education Work Placement.
How much time do you need to be able to give?
5 day fixed term.
What will you be doing?
- You will undertake tasks relating to animal care in one of our centres
- For placements in our HQ, you may undertake a placement in Marketing, HR or Fundraising
What skills do you need?
- Strong interest in animal welfare
- Patient and caring approach
- Punctual and reliable
- Good at taking instruction
- Willing to adhere to policy and procedures, as directed
- Flexibility

Further information related to this role
We recommend that you have an up-to-date anti-tetanus vaccination before starting a placement that involves direct contact with animals.
