Following a rigorous and competitive recruitment process, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Bishop as our new Chief Executive.
Mark brings extensive experience from the charity and heritage sectors, including his current role as CEO of Dynamic Earth, and previous senior roles at the National Trust for Scotland and Prostate Cancer UK.

He joins the Scottish SPCA at a time of rising need and opportunity. He brings proven people leadership and deep expertise in marketing, fundraising and business delivery.”
Mark Bishop added:

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Anna Hart, who has provided exceptional leadership and stability as Interim CEO during a time of increased demand for our services.
We are excited to welcome Mark as we continue to deliver on our bold vision: making Scotland the best place in the world for an animal to call home.
Mark will take up the role on 4th August. We look forward to introducing him to our wider community , supporters and partners and continuing our vital work together.
