What is the Edinburgh Marathon Festival?

There’s a variety of different races, from the legendary Edinburgh Marathon to the Hairy Haggis Relay. Challenge yourself or others to be part the Edinburgh Marathon Festival event.
Edinburgh Marathon is the second largest marathon in the UK and was voted the fastest marathon in the UK for its flat course which snakes through one of the most stunning cities as you’ve never seen it before.

Who can take part in the Edinburgh Marathon?
You must be aged 18yrs or over to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon. For information on other events please visit Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
How much do you need to fundraise?
We ask people to pay a non-refundable deposit which ranges from £15 per charity space depending on which challenge you are to participate in. Non charity spaces range from £33 via the EMF website.
We’re asking you to aim to raise a minimum of £500 per entrant if participating in the Edinburgh Marathon event to help us be there for all animals, always.
All runners can claim their free Scottish SPCA running top on registration.
How to enter
Sign up now to raise essential funds for Scotland’s animals and run an iconic race. Our dedicated fundraising team will then be in touch to set you up with your own personalised Scottish SPCA fundraising page and you’ll be able to claim your FREE Scottish SPCA running top.
