Raven and Lugsy's story

The puppy farm

We rescued Raven and Lugsy from a puppy farm.

It was a terrible place: dogs held in cold, damp pens, and the minimal bedding they had was covered in faeces.

No food they could actually eat. Nothing for them to do physically or mentally.

It was an awful place.

A loving home

After a few months of care in one of our centres, Raven and Lugsy were ready to join their forever home with Shirley and Jim and are now living the life they deserve with a loving family.

But there are more animals out there that need our help.

A gift from you today could help us look after the next Raven or Lugsy we rescue.

We are the only charity in Scotland with the power to rescue animals at risk. As Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, we’re working 365 days a year.

We don’t receive any government funding, so our work is only possible thanks to donations from people like you.

It costs us £56,000 every day to continue the work that animals across Scotland depend on.

Animals like Raven and Lugsy.
