What is the Edinburgh Marathon Festival?

Edinburgh Marathon is the second largest marathon in the UK and was voted the fastest marathon in the UK for its flat course which snakes through the stunning city of Edinburgh as you’ve never seen it before.
Who can take part in the Edinburgh Marathon?
You must be 18 or over to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon. For information on other events please visit Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
How much do you need to fundraise?
We ask fundraisers to pay a non-refundable deposit of £20 for the marathon and £15 for the half marathon per charity space. Non charity spaces range from £44.75 to £79.50 via the EMF website.
We’re asking participants to aim to raise a minimum of £600 for the marathon and £300 for the half marathon per entrant to help us be here for all animals, always.
All runners can claim their free Scottish SPCA running top on registration.
How to enter
Sign up now to raise essential funds for Scotland’s animals and run an iconic race. Our dedicated fundraising team will then be in touch to set you up with your own personalised Scottish SPCA fundraising page and you’ll be able to claim your FREE Scottish SPCA running top.
