Dog food appeal for Dunbartonshire centre

We are appealing to animal lovers to donate dog food for animals in the care of our Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The centre is currently caring for 38 dogs and is in need of both wet and dry food. They are running particularly low on adult dry food, sensitive dry food and Butchers wet tinned food.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre. Donations can also be handed into the centre reception on Dumbarton Road between 1pm and 4pm daily.

Centre manager, Ally Bibby, said, “We are currently caring for a high number of dogs at the centre and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.

“This food helps dogs like Gizmo maintain a healthy weight while in kennels and the sensitive dog food helps those with allergies.

“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know the animals in our care will be too.”
