What is the Supernova Run?

The Supernova Run is a stunning 5k route around the world famous Kelpies in Falkirk Helix Park. The Kelpies, which are mythical creatures, come to life when they are lit up at dusk. Runners will snake their way around the awe-inspiring, 300-tonne structures and be immersed in an enchanting journey of light.

Entrants should don their lights and fluorescents to help shine bright on the route. Less focus on time and more focus on fun!

Who can take part in the Supernova Run?

The Supernova Run is for everybody – and we mean everybody! From grandparents to grandchildren, it’s a wonderful opportunity to get the full family involved to raise vital funds for Scotland’s animals! The ever-changing colour of the Kelpies creates a brilliant, fun atmosphere for participants as they take on the 5k. Children under the age of 16 must have adult supervision.

How much do you need to fundraise?

We ask people to pay a £12 non-refundable deposit to secure a charity place. Non charity spaces range from £20 via the Supernova website.

We’re asking you to aim to raise a minimum of £50 per entrant to help us be there for all animals, always.

All runners can claim their free Scottish SPCA running top on registration.
