Did you know the Scottish SPCA cares for a whole host of small animals every year? This includes guinea pigs, rats, mice, degus and hamsters. In 2018, we successfully rehomed over 500 rodents – but there’s hundreds more small animals in our animal rescue and rehoming centres who would benefit if you sponsored an enclosure.

Why sponsor a small animal enclosure?

If you sponsor a small animal enclosure at a rescue and rehoming centre, you’ll be helping all sorts of small animals in urgent need of medical treatment and care. By sponsoring an enclosure, you’ll play an important part in their care.

Thanks to your support, small animals which spend time in the enclosure you sponsor will enjoy a healthy diet, excellent care and access to veterinary treatment until they find a forever home.

What do you get if you sponsor a small animal enclosure?

You’ll get a special thank-you letter for sponsoring a small animal enclosure and a story about one of the animals we’ve been able to support thanks to you. Halfway through your year-long sponsorship, we’ll send you another update. We’ll also send you a copy of our twice-yearly magazine, where you will be able to read up on exclusive news and features about our work saving animals across Scotland.

How much does it cost to sponsor a small animal enclosure?

It costs £40 to sponsor a small animal enclosure for a year. You can also sponsor an enclosure as a gift for a friend or family member who loves small animals.

If you choose to do this, we can send a special gift card to the lucky person alongside the gift pack.
