Did you know we treated a record number of hedgehogs at our National Wildlife Rescue Centre in 2018? Over 1,300 hedgehogs, many of which were babies who would not have survived in the wild, came in for treatment.

Why sponsor a hedgehog unit?

If you sponsor a hedgehog unit at our National Wildlife Rescue Centre, you’ll be helping hedgehogs in urgent need of love and attention. By sponsoring a unit, you’ll play an important part in their care until they regain the strength to be released back in to the wild.

Thanks to your support, hedgehogs which spend time in the hutch you sponsor will enjoy a safe, warm space, food, excellent care and access to veterinary treatment.

What do you get if you sponsor a hedgehog unit?

You’ll get a special thank-you letter for sponsoring a hedgehog unit and a story about one of the animals we’ve been able to keep warm and happy thanks to you. Halfway through your year-long sponsorship, we’ll send you another update. We’ll also send you a copy of our twice-yearly magazine, where you will be able to read up on exclusive news and features about our work saving animals across Scotland.

How much does it cost to sponsor a hedgehog unit?

It costs £30 to sponsor a hedgehog unit for a year. You can also sponsor a unit as a gift for a friend or family member who loves hedgehogs.

If you choose to do this, we can send a special gift card to the lucky person alongside the gift pack.
