OUR IMPACT IN 2022
During 2022 calls to our helpline to give up an animal trebled, and our inspectors and animal rescue officers assisted an average of over 230 animals every single day.
Despite this pressure, we continued to make Scotland a better place for all animals. We had 5,683 domestic animals arrive at our animal rescue and rehoming centres, found 3,343 pets their forever homes, and successfully released 74% of wild animals.
We also continued to support farmers, people in crisis via our Pet Aid service, and young people through our education programmes.
Prevention is in our name and we’re proud of the impact we made in 2022 to help people and animals in need across Scotland.
