By purchasing tickets for our prize draw, you'll be raising vital funds to help us continue our work - saving the lives of vulnerable animals across Scotland.
When we first found poor Cody the bulldog, she was in a cage with her 12 puppies, suffering from a serious womb infection and very badly malnourished – her bones clearly visible. Her bedding was soaked in faeces, blood and urine. If a concerned member of the public hadn’t notified our animal helpline, she would have most likely died within days as a result of her infection.
Luckily, Cody made a full recovery. And, with our help, she and her puppies were able to find homes with caring families. What’s more, as a result of our investigation, Cody’s original owner was given a five-year ban from owning dogs.
The Scottish SPCA doesn’t receive any government funding. So, to help fund our ongoing work, we’re holding a special Saving Scotland’s Animals Prize Draw. Every £1 raffle ticket sold will go towards saving the lives of vulnerable animals across Scotland, just like Cody.
You can purchase tickets in your own name, or sell tickets to your friends and family. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you’ll have of winning £2,000, £500, £250 or one of ten runner-up prizes of £50. The closing date is 30 July, so make sure you return your ticket stubs and your payment slip in plenty of time.
