Troy is a nice big lad who came in through no fault of his own.
He is a very large guy with an equally big heart. He can be a little nervous when he initially meets someone new however once he knows you he is a gentle giant.
Troy loves a fuss and to get patted and although he doesn't seem to be interested in toys he is partial to some treats of the edible variety!
He walks well on his lead when there are no other dogs around and he knows some basic commands however he does still have a lot of learning to do, such as not jumping up on you when you enter the kennel.
When he first arrived Troy was pretty indifferent to other dogs however as time has gone on he has shown he does not like them and we think the Kennel atmosphere could be having an impact on this. Troy will pull on his lead and is a very strong dog so will require an equally strong, experienced new owner who can help to rectify his behaviour around other dogs.
Troy will require a home where he has access to a fully enclosed garden with a high enough fence that he will be able to stretch his long legs safely while continuing his training (and recall!).
Then how about these wee beauties...
