Gorgeous Tilly is ready to find her happy ever after.
Tilly can initially be a little bit of a worrier and needs some time to come round to new people. She is more unsure of men than women so we feel she would benefit from a female only or female predominant home. Any new owners must be willing to give Tilly space and time to settle. Once she is comfortable with you (which usually doesn't take long) she is a sweet little lady who enjoys a fuss being made of her.
From her behaviour in the kennel, we assume that Tilly is housetrained, however accidents should be expected while she settles in to her new home.
She generally walks well on lead but can be strong when she is over excited and wanting to get going. She has interacted well with other dogs here at the centre but can be a bit overexcited when she first gets out her walk. She has recently shown toy possession around other dogs so while she can have dog friends out with her home, it's best she is rehomed as an only pet.
She would benefit from an active home who could take her on plenty of long walks or even hikes/runs. She would make a great little dog for anyone interested in doing dog sports such as agility or canicross.
Tilly would be best suited to a home with a garden rather than a flat environment. Ideally her new owners should have experience or understanding of how to deal with and approach a timid dog.
