Sweet Sasha is a lovely girl who has sadly been with us some time to prepare her for finding her forever home.
She has had a sad life before arriving in our care which mirrors in her behaviour, Sasha is very shy when meeting strangers, she takes her time to trust someone new. However, if you have hot dogs then she likes you much quicker!
Sasha gets frightened when people approach her, she asks that you wait to be invited to get cuddles and kisses from her. However, once you are in with Sasha, you're in! You cannot get away from her bum wiggles and head butting for more fuss!
She is very playful, she is often spotted entertaining herself with the toys in her kennel and loves to chase a ball.
Sasha aims to please, she knows some basic commands and walks beautifully on her lead. Sasha loves her exercise but is equally as lazy, after her morning walk she seeks a cosy bed to curl up in for hours.
Sasha is house trained and could likely be left alone for a couple of hours.
Due to an unfortunate encounter in her past, Sasha is very fearful of other dogs. As seen in the video, she can be in closer proximity with a dog that she has spent time getting to know, however she can be reactive and avoid new dogs.
Sasha would not suit a home with children, she is looking for a quiet, experienced dog owner who can be patient with her. Anyone interested in Sash will need to be able to come and visit her several times at the centre before adoption to build up a relationship first.
She will require direct access to a garden so unfortunately would not be suitable to live in a flat
Can you offer this sensitive soul her happy ever after?
