Beautiful Roxy is now ready to find her forever home!

This lovely girl really loves her toys and running around off the lead. It can take her a wee bit of time to come round to people. However, once she trusts you, she is a very loving and affectionate dog.

We are looking for a home that has experience dealing with large breeds and Roxy's new owners will need to be patient with her while she settles in. We are also looking for a home with a good sized, fully enclosed garden which isn't shared with any other dogs. Roxy is not able to live in a flat or in a home where there are any other dogs, cats or small animals.

Roxy walks well but is strong on the lead and can be unsure of dogs when out walking. She can be reactive towards other dogs at times, so she is currently working on muzzle conditioning. This is something her new owners will need to be aware of, and also be prepared to continue working with Roxy to get her more comfortable around other dogs.

Roxy enjoys her food and isn't a picky eater. We have limited information on her past home but we do know that she seems to travel well in the car and has previously lived with children. Due to her nice and playful nature, we feel she would be best suited to a home with older children that are used to being around large breeds.

Roxy has found the kennel environment quite stressful and it seems like she may have slight separation anxiety. This is something her new owners will need to be prepared for and be willing to continue training with her to ensure she is happy and comfortable being left alone in the house. We are unable to say for definite whether or not Roxy is toilet trained and she may take some time to get used to going to the toilet outside. However, she is a clever girl and we feel she will get to grips with this pretty quickly once in a home environment.
