The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a cat was found injured on Falside Road in Paisley.

Cat in Paisley

We were notified by a member of the public who discovered the black and white cat on her doorstep on 13 September.

Animal rescue officer Elizabeth Lindsay said, “We suspect the cat has been hit by a vehicle.

“He is neutered and microchipped but his details are not up to date.

“He was found with a broken leg and fractured pelvis.

“Due to the extent of his injuries, we are keen to trace the owner as soon as possible.

“Our veterinary clinic in Glasgow is currently giving him the care he needs.

“If anyone recognises this cat or has any information, please call the clinic direct on 0845 557 1062.”
