Cat found in carrier in Glasgow

The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a cat was found beside a carrier in Glasgow on Thursday (1 Feb).

TarleyWe were alerted to the discovery after the male cat was found beside the Elder Park Library on Langlands Road.

Inspector Lara Vickery said, “The cat, name Tarley, is around five to eight years old and was found beside a carrier which contained cat litter at around 3pm.

“He’s currently being looked after at our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre but we’re keen to hear from anyone who might be able to help us contact his owner.

“Tarley has a heart murmur and a large growth and it’s crucial that we find out if he was receiving any treatment for this.”
