Volunteers organise dog walk at Strathclyde Park

The Scottish SPCA North Lanarkshire Supporter Group is delighted to invite locals to participate in their dog walk on Sunday 21 October at 1pm.

Strathclyde dog walkThe dog walk starts at Strathclyde Park with all funds raised going to Scotland’s animal welfare charity.
Superintendent Sharon Comrie said, “We’re calling on dog lovers to come along to the sponsored walk and get involved.

“Everyone is very welcome to take part and meet other local dog owners.

“We don’t receive any government funding which means we rely on the public to be able to continue our work rescuing and rehoming animals in desperate need of our help.

“We are very grateful for events like these, organised by our dedicated and generous supporter groups, as they make a real difference and help us continue rescuing abused, abandoned and injured animals across Scotland.”

The meeting point is at the first carpark after the water sports building.
