The Scottish SPCA is seeking loving Glasgow homes for cats in their care

The Scottish SPCA is seeking loving homes for 11 cats desperately in need of their forever home.

Glasgow catWe have a variety of felines in our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre with a range of requirements, all of which are looking for their loving forever homes.

Manager of the centre, Anna O’Donnell, said, “We would love to find homes for the cats in our care.

“Many of them haven’t had the best start in life, their backgrounds vary from cruelty cases to being found as strays, so they will need understanding and patient owners who will adapt to their needs and allow them time to settle.

“Calypso and Athena are our longest feline residents.  Both have been with us for five months.

“Athena is a timid girl looking for a home with no other animals and Calypso is a nervous soul who is unsure of new environments and people.  Both have the potential to be affectionate pets but they need sympathetic and patient new owners.

“We would encourage people to visit our centre which is open to the public 10am - 12pm, 1pm - 4pm (closed Tuesday) to meet all of the unique felines we have looking for new homes.”

Anyone who is interested in offering a cat a new home, should contact the centre in Glasgow on 03000 999 999.
