Taydogs Dog Training support Scottish SPCA in massive Christmas appeal

The Scottish SPCA was delighted to attend the Taydogs Dog Training annual Christmas Party where they were presented with an overwhelmingly generous donation by Senga Thorpe, owner of the club.

TaysideWe were delighted to receive such huge support from Senga and all her members.

Angus, Fife and Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre Manager Elliot Hay said, “Senga has supported the Society for a number of years by holding raffles throughout the year and encouraging friends and training club members to donate to their annual Christmas drive.

“Animal Rescue Officer Ben Soutar and Animal Care Assistant Lori Downie were invited to the Christmas party where they were surprised with this incredible donation.

“We don’t receive any government or lottery funding and rely entirely on the generous support of the public. Senga has really gone above and beyond and we cannot thank her enough.”

Senga added, “It’s really important to me to support the local centre. I think we’re incredibly lucky to have this kind of resource so close by and really support the Scottish SPCA and the work they do.
“It’s nice to give back, and I have to thank everyone who puts up with me pestering them to buy raffle tickets and donate gifts and prizes all year!”
