Scottish SPCA seeking home for overlooked senior Poppy

The Scottish SPCA is seeking a loving home for overlooked senior Poppy.

We are caring for the Jack Russell terrier at our Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Manager of the centre, Jimmy Gunn, said, “Poppy has been in our care for 280 days and has been continuously overlooked.

“She is 13 years old so she is looking for somewhere to live out her twilight years.

“Poppy is a very friendly girl and loves a fuss to be made of her.

“As she is getting on in age, she doesn’t require a great deal of exercise and enjoys short walks.

“She does have quite a high prey drive so will need to go to a home without smaller animals or cats.

“Poppy has lived in an outside kennel but also in a house. She will need further house training as she does have the odd accident.

“She just needs that special someone to come along and provide her perfect, loving retirement home.”

Anyone who is interested in offering Poppy a home should contact our centre in Caithness and Sutherland on 03000 999 999.
