Scottish SPCA receive £280 from Scotland Excel

The Scottish SPCA has received £280 from Scotland Excel, based in Paisley.

Scotland ExcelWe were delighted to receive this donation, which was raised through a dress down day, bake sale and raffle. They also donated a huge amount of toys, treats and food to our centre in Cardonald.
Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre Superintendent Sharon Comrie said, “We’re extremely thankful to everyone at Scotland Excel.

“This type of fundraising takes a lot of organising and effort and we fully appreciate all the time everyone put in to make their fundraising efforts such a success!

“We don’t receive any government or lottery funding which means we rely on the public to be able to continue our work rescuing and rehoming animals in desperate need of our help.”
Zoe Brawn from the Scotland Excel Staff Engagement Group said, “We were absolutely delighted to turn the focus of our staff fundraising efforts to the Scottish SPCA. The charity was put forward as a suggestion by a member of staff who rehomed a dog from the Scottish SPCA centre in Glasgow home and was fully embraced by the organisation. With many pet owners working at Scotland Excel, the work of the charity is certainly close to many hearts. We hope the money raised can make a difference.”
