Scottish SPCA holds Santa’s Grrr-otto for dogs in Dunbartonshire

The Scottish SPCA is inviting dog owners to bring their dogs to meet Santa at their very own Grrr-otto this December.

Santa Grrr-otto

We are holding the festive event at our Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre on 1 December.

Assistant manager of the centre, Kim Mackrell, said, “We are encouraging dog owners to ‘bring their doggo to Santa’s grotto’ this festive season.

“Dogs will get to meet Santa, receive a gift and get their photo taken with their families.

“Even though Santa will be there to meet his canine chums, children are welcome too!

“We’ll also have raffles, stalls, crafts and opportunities to meet our resident animals in need of their forever homes.

“We think it will be a really fun, inclusive event suitable for all the family.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to experience time with animals.

“The Grrr-otto event will run from 11am – 3pm.

“This is a fantastic, festive, event and funds raised will go towards the animals in our care.”

Anyone interested in coming to the Christmas event on 1 December should book their place by phoning 01389 761208 or by visiting the centre at Dumbarton Road, Milton, Dumbarton G82 2UA.
