New Year, new you, new friends!

The Scottish SPCA has supporter groups across the country recruiting for volunteers to join them as they raise funds throughout the year to help Scotland’s animals!

supporter groupWe are hosting welcome events at our centres over the coming months and any animal lovers interested in getting involved in their community should get in touch!
Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre Superintendent Sharon Comrie said, “Joining one of our supporter groups is a wonderful way to meet new people, take on a new challenge and also give back to the community.

“We'd really love to hear from anyone who would like to lend a hand and help the lives of abused, abandoned and injured animals.

“Volunteering is a great way of meeting new people or for adding experience to your CV. It’s a fun way of being able to give back to the community and helps us to continue rescuing abused and abandoned animals.”

Sharon added, “We don’t receive any government or lottery funding which means we rely on the public to be able to continue our work rescuing and rehoming animals in desperate need of our help.”
