Dundee birds looking for loving forever homes

The Scottish SPCA is seeking homes for eight birds currently at their Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Petterden.

Dundee birdsWe have everything from cockatiels to cockerels at our Angus, Fife and Tayside rescue centre, all of which are looking for their loving forever homes.

Assistant manager of the centre Dale Christie said, “We would love to find homes for the birds in our care.

“We have birds that are suited to family homes and those which need more experienced owners, such as our cockerels.

“Anyone looking to take on a new pet should have done plenty of research on the type of animal they would like to bring home and have the time, finances, ability and commitment to caring for the pet for the rest of its life.

“We would encourage people to visit our centre which is open to the public 10am – 4pm (closed Tuesday) to meet all of the amazing feathered friends we have looking for their new homes.”

Anyone who is interested in offering a bird a new home, or finding out more about the avian pets should contact our centre in Angus, Fife and Tayside on 03000 999 999.
