October challenges with the Kilted Coaches

The Scottish SPCA are holding two fitness challenges this October to raise vital funds for the animals in their care, supported by Stephen Clarke and Rab Shields, better known as the Kilted Coaches.

We are giving animal lovers a choice between our ‘Push Ups for Paws’ challenge, or the ‘Scottish SPCA Squat Challenge’.

Push Ups for Paws involves taking on 1000 push ups during October for Scotland’s animals, equalling 33 a day. There is a beginner, intermediate, and advanced push up option to choose from, to suit differing fitness levels.

Similarly, the Scottish SPCA Squat Challenge requires participants to complete 1000 squats, and there are three difficulty levels to choose from.

These challenges will be run via Facebook, and once participants sign up they will be added to a Facebook group community for the challenge.

Here they will have support and motivation from us and others taking on the challenges, as well as exclusive access to demonstrations of each difficulty level of the exercises by the Kilted Coaches.

The Kilted Coaches said, “This is a fun challenge but easy for everyone to get involved with.

“As animal lovers we’re honoured to be a part of this.”
