Nala and Esme's rehoming 'tail'

Nala and Esme

Nala and Esme came in to the care of our Dumbarton centre, when they were signed over from a multi-cat household where their needs were sadly not being met.

They unfortunately had a few health issues when they were in our care including cat flu and giardia.

These diseases are highly contagious among cats and giardia can cause serious illness.

The duo stayed together over the time they were unwell, so they always had each other for comfort and support.

After ten months of daily monitoring and communication with vet, Nala and Esme were finally ready to look for their forever home!

It wasn’t hard finding this gorgeous pair a home and they were soon rehomed by a couple who fell in love with them immediately.

They were renamed Sooty and Smudge by their loving new owners who told us they have settled well in to their new home and they do everything together!

We’re so happy that after months of specialised care, this wonderful pair are now living their best lives together!
