Bella's rehoming 'tail'

It was third time lucky for Bella who found her forever home with Mhairi and her family after previously being returned twice to our Ayrshire centre.

Bella came in to our care as a pup after her owners could no longer look after her, and due to the pandemic she had not received the training, socialisation and routine that she needed.

Bella is likely a mix of collie and Staffy, meaning she is very energetic!

Mhairi has previous experience with collies after training her previous dog Kes from a pup. This made her feel more prepared when she welcomed Bella in to her home.

Bella has been with her new family for around one and a half years, and everyone she meets loves her.

She loves going travelling with her family in their campervan, and dedication and training has had a huge impact on her.

She is perfectly behaved 97% of the time, but still shows her cheeky side now and then!

Mhairi is so glad they decided to give Bella the chance she needed, and overall has had a really positive experience with their first rescue dog.

Bella brings them so much joy and they could not imagine her not in their lives.
